We Will Be Open on the 1st July 2020
At EyeStyle Centre, we are committed to meeting your essential eye health needs throughout the current COVID-19 pandemic. We are able to provide essential care, should you require it. Essential care includes concerns or anxiety about your eye health, your glasses, contact lenses and/or current prescription, or you require new glasses or sunglasses.
Please note: An optometrist will contact you by phone prior to your chosen appointment time to establish whether a face-to-face appointment is clinically necessary and to help you understand what to expect when you visit us in practice.
We are still here for you.
We are doing everything we can to support our patients and staff in this unprecedented time. We appreciate your co-operation and patience.

Essential and urgent care
By appointment only, EyeStyle Centre practices will be open for essential and urgent eye care. If you feel you require an essential appointment, please phone your nearest branch to book.
Due to high demand and social distancing requirements, all appointment will be triaged, either by phone or email, so you will be contacted by one of our opticians prior your appointment.
By requesting an appointment, you agree to comply with all safety measures in place in the practice. These measures are in place to protect the wellbeing of our staff and our patients.
No one is permitted to attend a face-to-face appointment if you or someone you have been in contact with has had COVID-19 symptoms within the last 14 days.
If you suspect an eye emergency, for example experiencing new or changes in floaters in your vision, sudden eye pain, sudden loss of sight or flashing lights in your vision, please call the Eye Unit at your nearest hospital, or call NHS 111 (if out of hours)
What you could expect when you visit us in practice
We are here for you and, as always, will ensure the very highest standards of service and care.
After you have booked your appointment, we’ll give you a call to carefully understand your vision needs and decide whether a visit to the practice is clinically necessary.

We will be providing services on an “appointment only” basis to care for any patient with emergency, priority or essential needs, where clinically necessary.

OUR PRACTICE TEAM & PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE)
Our team will have been fully trained in the use of PPE and social distancing measured. Team members will wear appropriate PPE, which may include face masks, face shields, disposable aprons and gloves.
WHEN YOU ARRIVE
We’ll invite you to use our hand hygiene facilities. If you’re bringing your own spectacles, we’ll give you a sanitising wipe to clean them and a box to place them in.
HYGIENE & CLEANING
Our practices will be cleaned thoroughly on an hourly basis, and our consulting rooms will be sanitised before and after each patient visits.
If you have any concerns, please feel free to talk this through with us when we call.
We would like to thank you for your custom and support and we look forward to seeing you for all your eye care needs when we return and normal service resumes.
