In Europe, over 60% of 40 to 60 year olds now use computers at work and at home. Computers have become an indispensable tool with most people spending several hours a day in front of a screen. The results are only to be expected: blurred vision, headaches, dry eyes and light sensitivity. Over 75% of computer users report these symptoms. At around the age of 40 they become aggravated by the normal decrease in visual acuity and accommodation capacity.
Now Varilux is breaking new ground with the launch of a range of lenses specifically designed for the computer vision of presbyopes. It is called, simply enough, Varilux Computer.

Varilux Computer is designed specifically for the computer vision of presbyopes. Varilux Computer is available in two lenses; Computer 2 Visions and Computer 3 Visions each designed from the careful observation of computer users.
Varilux computer is an occupational lens and this gives you the opportunity to give your patients a lens that is more tailored to their needs. As it's a second pair of spectacles, it can add value to your dispensing. All Varilux Computer lenses can be coated with a choice of Supra, Trio, Crizal Alizé or Crizal Alizé with Scotchgard coatings.
