Wider field of vision combined with a soft periphery
A patient wearing Varilux Comfort is able to cover a much wider field without head movements. This improvement has been achieved by the development of a smoother lens surface. The rate at which the optical characteristics (including lens power, prismatic effect and surface astigmatism) vary over the surface of the lens is much slower. This results in a significant reduction in the swaying or ‘swimming’ effect.
